What You Will Do: 

Key Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the Lead Operator and the Shift Supervisor
• Helps break down jobs
• Ensures ink is removed from screens, squeegees, and flood bars
• Helps move ink in screens while jobs are running on the machine
• Cleans squeegees and flood bars
• Unloads for Operators, when appropriate
• Understands that different styles/sizes require different placements
• Learns to identify quality issues with both the garment and the print
• Learns to consistently load garments straight and in the same position onto the machine pallets, while the machine is running
• Understands proper squeegee selection
• Fills out Tech Sheets to record how designs are printed, when necessary
• Changes pallet tape and pallets as necessary
• Helps maintain a clean and organized work area
• Demonstrates commitment to company values
• Quality Control — Monitors own work to ensure quality. Looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Applies feedback to improve performance. Demonstrates a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Safety & Security — Always follows current safety and security procedures. Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines. Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Uses equipment and materials properly.
• Qualifications — To qualify for this position, one must have the ability to read, write, apply common sense, and comprehend simple instructions furnished in a written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one or with small groups of employees. Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize. Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide, and work with percentages.
• Works on special projects as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by a functional area senior management team member
• Communicates production issues, quality concerns, or equipment needs to the supervisor promptly

Work Environment

This job operates in a production environment and is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and chemicals. Noise level in the environment is moderate.  This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. 

Schedule

Full-Time: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
