Position Details

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Attorney with a blended background in both bankruptcy and commercial litigation to join our Litigation department. The successful candidate must have exceptional background in bankruptcy and creditor rights and commerical/business litigation. Must have strong legal research, writing, and critical thinking ability; excellent verbal and written advocacy at motion hearings and trial; and the capacity to organize, prioritize and multi-task. Must have a minimum of five (5) years bankruptcy  and commercial litigation experience, with the ability to focus on business development success, is preferred.
  

Requirements

· Five years of experience dealing with complex business litigation with an emphasis in bankruptcy matters 

· Experience representing financial institutions regarding bankruptcy and creditor rights disputes, recovering funds and assets. 

· Experience conducting discovery, including written and deposition discovery

· Experience mediating and negotiating case settlements

· Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents

· Must have very strong legal writing and analytical skills

 Compensation and Bonus Information

Base compensation will vary based on level of experience. Associate compensation range $160,000-$220,000. Associate Attorneys are also eligible for monthly source and annual discretionary bonus incentives based on performance.
