Description

Director of Marketing

The Biltmore Hotel | Coral Gables, Florida

The Biltmore Hotel is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the next chapter of its centennial story. This is an opportunity to shape the voice and visibility of a landmark luxury hotel while generating measurable business across rooms, meetings and celebrations, dining, golf, spa, and other experiences.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will set the hotel’s marketing strategy, lead a small team and external partners, and work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, and ownership. You will bring both creative judgment and commercial discipline: protecting what makes The Biltmore distinctive while finding effective ways to reach new guests and deepen relationships with those who know us.

What you will lead

  • Develop and execute an annual marketing plan tied to      the hotel’s business priorities and revenue goals.
  • Grow profitable demand and direct bookings through      digital marketing, the website, email, CRM, content, partnerships, and      targeted campaigns.
  • Build coordinated marketing plans for the hotel’s      rooms, group and catering business, restaurants, golf, spa, and other      outlets.
  • Guide brand identity, storytelling, photography, video, public relations, and communications across all channels.
  • Manage the marketing budget, agencies, and vendors, with clear priorities and accountability for results.
  • Measure campaign performance and present practical insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Marketing Manager and PR Coordinator.

Requirements

 What you bring

  • At least ten years of progressive marketing experience,      including leadership of integrated campaigns, budgets, teams, and agency      partners.
  • A record of delivering measurable commercial results, especially through digital marketing and direct channels.
  • Strong brand judgment, writing and communication skills, and the ability to turn a strategy into work that gets done.
  • The confidence to collaborate across multiple business units and balance competing priorities.
  • Independent luxury hotel or resort marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • English and Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.

If you are a commercially minded marketing leader who understands the power of an exceptional place and knows how to translate that appeal into results, we would welcome your application.
