Summary

The employee will be responsible for raw material inventory accuracy and organization. Materials to be processed timely, accurately and stored efficiently. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifies alloy, quantities and sizes of remnant material into and out of the stockroom.
• Coordinate obsolete material scrap with procurement.
• Perform cycle counts to assure accuracy of inventory levels.
• Perform housekeeping chores as department requirements dictate.
• Investigative skills
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Key Roles

• Uses procedures and work instructions to disposition remnant material as either      scrap, or re-stocked.
• Processes materials and components to and from inventory in an accurate and timely      manner and in accordance with documented work instructions and procedures.
• Provides accurate counts and conducts cycle counts.
• Provides strong internal customer service.

Education & Experience Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent

Required Knowledge and Skills:

· Overhead crane and fork truck usage.

· XRF Analyzer

· Measuring tools including tape measures, calipers and micrometers.

· Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and general Acutec electronic systems.

· Organizational skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. May be required to train and assist other employees.

· This position is regularly required to reach and grasp with hand for the purpose of moving and handling of materials. Occasionally lifting up to eighty pounds from a standing position, regularly lifts up to 50 pounds. 

· Good vision to read precision measuring instruments.

· Regularly perform repetitive movement of finger, hand, arm and occasionally shoulder.

· Frequent exposure to noise, dust, sharp surfaces, moving parts, fork trucks, cranes and power equipment.
