B.E.S.T. is looking for an energetic and dependable Lacrosse Coach to lead one-hour classes on weekday afternoons for elementary-aged children in grades 1–5. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching sports, working with kids, and creating an active, positive environment where players can learn and have fun.

• Lead 1-hour lacrosse classes for students in grades 1–5.
• Teach age-appropriate lacrosse fundamentals through drills, activities, and games.
• Keep students active, engaged, and participating throughout the class.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and explain skills in a way elementary-aged players can understand.
• Manage a group of children while maintaining a positive and organized class environment.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, effort, and confidence.
• Follow B.E.S.T. curriculum and coaching expectations.
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and school/community partners.
• Arrive 30 minutes before class and stay 10 minutes after class — all prep and cleanup time is paid.
• Set up and put away equipment before and after programming.

• A strong communicator and team player.
• Experienced with lacrosse, youth sports, coaching, teaching, or recreation preferred.

Position Details

Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Part-time, weekday afternoons
Class Length: 1 hour
Paid Time: 30 minutes before class + 10 minutes after class
Age Group: Grades 1–5
Sport: Lacrosse

Required Qualifications

• Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card – REQUIRED
• Valid driver's license – REQUIRED
• Reliable personal vehicle – REQUIRED
• Must be able to reliably travel to assigned program locations.
• Must be able to participate in physical activities, including running, throwing, demonstrating drills, and playing with students.
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 40lbs.
