North Coast Credit Union is looking for a Business Systems Analyst / Project Support professional to help turn business needs into effective technology and process solutions. This role provides business analysis, system support, and project coordination for cross-functional initiatives that contribute to the credit union’s strategic goals, operational efficiency, and member experience.


Working under the direction of the VP/Chief Information Officer, you’ll partner with business stakeholders, IT, leadership, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, projects from planning through implementation and ongoing support. You’ll also help departments identify opportunities to use technology more effectively, solve system and process challenges, and implement solutions that support our employees, members, and continued organizational growth.


What You'll Do

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Help evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the member experience.
  • Support administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of the core system.
  • Coordinate system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, releases, and other technology projects.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to keep projects on track.
  • Support system testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain system, process, and project documentation.
  • Communicate project status, issues, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Help ensure system changes and projects meet credit union policies, regulatory requirements, security standards, and member needs.

Pay Range: $29.99 - $41.98


Hiring Range: $29.99 - $36.00

Requirements

  What You'll Bring

  • 1–4 years of experience in business analysis, project support, systems analysis, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Experience supporting or administering business systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business technology tools.
  • A collaborative approach and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Credit union, banking, core-banking/business-system, or other financial services experience is strongly preferred.

Work Schedule


This position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Occasional after-hours work may be required.


Work Location


This role offers flexibility in primary work location, with the opportunity to be located at a branch in either Whatcom or Skagit County, depending on the candidate’s preference and business needs. The position also plays an important role in building relationships, fostering collaboration across departments, and strengthening connections among teams throughout our branch network. To support these efforts, periodic travel between branch locations is required. Candidates must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle for business travel. Travel time between branch locations will be compensated, and mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.


Following completion of an initial evaluation period, there may also be opportunities for occasional remote work, based on business needs and the responsibilities of the role.
