Position Overview
We’re seeking an EH&S Specialist to serve as the primary on-site safety resource for our 3rd-shift associates and leadership. This role supports safety programs, training, incident prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary EH&S contact during 3rd shift
- Conduct safety/environmental audits and emergency response drills
- Deliver hands-on and classroom safety training
- Support incident and near-miss investigations and corrective actions
- Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and facility risk assessments
- Promote OSHA, company safety, environmental, and GMP compliance
- Support safety permits, work orders, PSM activities, and PPE requirements
- Partner with operations and employees to strengthen our safety culture
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of EHS/safety experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and required insurance
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Availability to work 3rd shift, including occasional weekends/alternative schedules
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
- Safety-focused certification
- Spanish-speaking ability
- Experience conducting emergency or safety drills
