The Marketing team at Element continues to grow alongside the company and its expanding portfolio of brands. The Marketing Operations Associate Manager will play a key role in driving the day-to-day execution of marketing and creative initiatives across brands. They will own the operational execution of projects from planning through completion, with a particular focus on commercialization, campaigns and cross-functional coordination.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Marketing Operations & Project Management
- Own the day-to-day execution and coordination of marketing and creative projects across multiple brands, products, campaigns, and channels, managing timelines, workbacks, production schedules, budgets, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Translate marketing and creative priorities into actionable project plans, partnering with leads to define next steps, maintain visibility into launches and content needs, and support prioritization across competing initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners across Marketing, Creative, Product and other stakeholders, leading status meetings and working sessions to drive accountability and follow-through.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks and bottlenecks, including resource constraints and timing issues, while developing repeatable processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and execution across the marketing organization.
Creative Production Management
- Own end-to-end production management for product, lifestyle, campaign, and other photo and video shoots, from initial planning through final asset delivery, ensuring projects meet creative, timing, quality, and budget requirements.
- Coordinate production resources and logistics, including photographers, videographers, production companies, studios, locations, talent, stylists, props, equipment, product samples, shipping, call sheets, and on-site shoot support.
- Manage post-production and final asset delivery, coordinating selects, retouching, editing, revisions, approvals, file specifications, and timelines to ensure all required assets are completed and delivered for use across channels.
- Manage external creative production partners supporting renderings, animations, video content, and other visual assets, translating project needs into clear briefs, coordinating timelines and feedback, and ensuring final work meets creative standards, technical requirements, and brand guidelines.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external creative and production partners, including photographers, videographers, production companies, agencies, freelancers, printers, studios, talent partners, and other vendors, while building a reliable network of resources to support the marketing organization.
- Own vendor scopes, estimates, budgets, and project execution, including negotiating project details and rates, managing timelines and deliverables, tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Establish clear expectations and drive vendor performance across quality, brand standards, usage rights, file specifications, revisions, and approvals, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consolidate resources, and build stronger long-term partnerships.
Marketing Systems & Workflow
- Own the day-to-day administration and optimization of the marketing and creative project management system, including Workfront, ensuring projects, tasks, timelines, owners, and deliverables remain accurate and up to date.
- Develop and improve workflows, templates, dashboards, and processes that create greater visibility, accountability, consistency, and efficiency across Marketing and Creative teams.
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement by managing internal and external partner access, onboarding and training, and identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and reduce unnecessary administrative work.
Creative & Marketing Support
- Partner closely with Creative and Marketing teams to ensure projects move efficiently from brief through final delivery.
- Support product launches by coordinating creative, content, photography, video, retail and other marketing deliverables.
- Help ensure creative assets are delivered in the appropriate formats, specifications, and timelines for each channel.
- Support special projects and initiatives across the marketing organization as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
- 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing operations, project management, creative production, or a related field.
- Experience with project management and creative workflow platforms, such as Workfront, Asana, Monday.com, or similar, with a strong understanding of creative production workflows and digital asset requirements.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative, marketing, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Self-directed and solutions-oriented, with the ability to take initiative, solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project and budget management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, timelines, budgets, estimates, invoices, and deliverables simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple projects in progress.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in consumer products, retail, electronics, appliances, outdoor living, or another product-driven industry.
- Experience managing on-location or studio photo/video shoots.
- Familiarity with digital asset management systems.
- Experience supporting multiple brands or product categories.
