Summary

We are seeking an Associate Advisor to join our Family Office team serving Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients with complex financial needs. In this role, you will partner closely with Advisors and Senior Advisors to cultivate and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication, coordinated delivery of services, and comprehensive support for individuals, families, trusts, and foundations. You will play a key role in ensuring every client interaction is executed with accuracy, professionalism, and exceptional care.


Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze client financial data and prepare accurate, client-ready reports and presentations.
  • Assist with meeting preparation and coordinate investment-related activities
  • Engage in client meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions, helping to strengthen relationships and deliver a high-touch client experience.
  • Address routine client inquiries and provide financial planning education to next-generation family members.
  • Coordinate meeting follow-ups, coordinate client priorities and collaborate with other subject matter experts and team members, as needed
  • Build technical expertise across investments, cash flow management, insurance, tax and estate planning
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to team initiatives to improve efficiency, quality and control through system and process enhancements
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required in (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field). 
  • Additional education such as an MBA, JD, LLM, are a plus.
  • Three to five (3-5) years of related industry experience (i.e. wealth management, family office, public accounting, portfolio management, trust and estate administration).
  • Minimum of 2 years directly supporting UHNW families (i.e. $25M+ investable assets)
  • Working knowledge of various income tax filings, investment asset classes, portfolio reporting, trust and estate administration, financial planning and wealth transfer concepts, and other industry specific terminology. 
  • Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to prepare thoughtful client correspondence, presentations, and planning materials.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and independent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities with follow-through and accountability.
  • Discretion, integrity, and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential client information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; and other financial planning, CRM, portfolio reporting and industry specific software such as (eMoney, Salesforce, Orion, Addepar).

Professional Certifications

  • Certifications such as CFP, CTFA, CPA or CIMA are strongly preferred.
