Schedule

2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

Days Off: Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday

Overtime may be available or required based on production needs, including occasional Saturdays.

Position Summary

As a Packaging Team Member, you'll help turn our award-winning cheese into products ready for customers across the country. Your day will include: 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating and cleaning packaging equipment
• Cutting bulk cheese blocks weighing up to 50 pounds
• Checking product weight, packaging and seal quality
• Verifying labels and packaging match customer orders
• Keeping production running efficiently and meeting quality standards
• Completing required production and quality documentation
• Following food safety, sanitation and GMP requirements
• Keeping your work area clean, organized and safe
• Working with teammates and other departments to meet production goals

What We're Looking For

You don't need previous cheese or food manufacturing experience - we'll provide training. We're looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn and take pride in doing quality work.

Required

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable attendance and dependability
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow

Basic computer skills are helpful, but training is provided.

Physical Demands

• Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
• Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday

Work Environment

You'll work in a food manufacturing environment where food safety, cleanliness and teamwork are priorities. The position includes regular exposure to refrigerated areas and cleaning chemicals. All team members are trained on required safety, sanitation and food safety procedures.
