Description

The Office Administrator helps keep the Creative Homes office welcoming, organized, stocked, and running smoothly. This role is the main point of contact for guests, phone calls, deliveries, vendors, facility concerns, and day-to-day administrative needs for Creative Homes and the other companies and teams that work closely with the office. The Office Administrator also supports company events and special projects.


Position: Full-Time, Exempt

Salary Range: $45,000–$55,000

Location: Woodbury, MN

Requirements

Front Desk, Guests & Cross-Entity Support

  • Answer and route calls and questions to the correct company, department, or contact.
  • Greet guests and support meetings, visitors, vendors, and deliveries.
  • Provide reliable front-desk coverage and maintain a professional, welcoming guest experience.

Office Operations, Supplies & Hospitality

  • Keep the office clean, organized, and ready for employees and guests.
  • Monitor inventory and order and organize office supplies.
  • Keep shared office equipment functioning and coordinate service when needed.
  • Manage daily office music and hospitality areas.
  • Coordinate recurring office vendors, maintenance schedules, and service follow-up.

Mail, Technology & Company Support

  • Handle mail, packages, supplies, and outgoing deliveries.
  • Help with basic printer, conference-room technology, and office-access issues; contact IT or vendors when needed.
  • Use approved AI tools to improve office processes, communication, organization, and service.
  • Support People First initiatives, company communications, and special projects as assigned.

Events, Seasonal Needs & Office Communications

  • Support company events through ordering, materials, decorating, setup, photography, and cleanup.
  • Manage office TV content for closings, special guests, holidays, and upcoming events.
  • Decorate for holidays, seasons, and company celebrations.
  • Manage patio furniture, umbrellas, light shoveling, salting, and seasonal office readiness.

Qualifications

  • Office administration, executive support, hospitality, facilities coordination, or related experience.
  • Strong organization, communication, judgment, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, highly visible setting.
  • Professional, welcoming, dependable, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Comfort learning office technology, AI tools, and new systems and knowing when to ask for help.
