About the Role
The Treasury Relationship Associate III plays a critical role in supporting business development and client relationship management for Depository and Treasury Management Relationship Managers, collaborating with sales officers, branch personnel, and internal teams to drive cross-sell opportunities, manage client portfolios, and ensure smooth customer transitions. In addition to contributing to revenue and deposit generation, the Associate takes on a leadership role, mentoring and training junior team members, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. By combining strategic insights with strong mentorship, the Associate helps elevate team performance, ensuring exceptional customer experience while driving both individual and organizational success.
Essential Duties:
- Assists in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by supporting Relationship Managers in prospecting, preparing proposals, and facilitating initial client meetings. Contributes to the overall growth of the business by ensuring a seamless transition from prospect to client. Manage support of existing client portfolios with assigned Relationship Managers.
- Coordinates all aspects of new client onboarding, working with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely implementation. Manages the client experience during the transition to ensure high satisfaction and quick, efficient service setup. Develop processes and procedures to streamline sales support.
- Partners with CX and Onboarding teams to create seamless processes for client follow-up and onboarding. Ensures that clients receive consistent, high-quality service throughout their transition from sales to full implementation.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure all activities comply with legal and organizational requirements. Participates in ongoing training to stay informed on regulatory changes and ensure adherence. Backup to TM Implementation Specialists.
- conducts research before client meetings to understand needs and identify opportunities, preparing tailored proposals. Ensure the sales process is informed by accurate data, positioning the company as a trusted partner. Provides sales backup and conduct joint sales calls.
- Takes on additional tasks as needed, supporting various teams and business functions. Ensure operational flexibility and responsiveness to meet evolving business needs and client requirements. Guide and support team to achieve their best performance while fostering a positive work environment.
- Acts as a backup to TM Implementation Specialists during absences or peak periods, ensuring that client implementations continue smoothly. Provides support across various tasks to maintain service levels and client satisfaction.
- Regularly assess employee performance, provide feedback, and set development goals to ensure continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to help employees grow in their roles and enhance their skills.

- Completes administrative tasks with a sense of urgency, including required Bank Compliance Training. - Travels up to 10%, including but not limited to attending company meetings, training sessions, and corporate events, with travel typically being regional or local based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, or related) preferred.
- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in treasury management support or operations in a financial institution, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity required.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of interpreting complex data and providing meaningful insights.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers, vendors and employees.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and relationship skills to lead collaborative efforts, foster alignment, and drive results across teams.
- Ability to take initiative and impact change within the Bank through consensus building and conflict resolution.
- Willingness to take on special projects and perform other duties as assigned, beyond core responsibilities, to support team and organizational needs.
