Lighthouse Autism Center is the leading Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy provider in Indiana, Iowa, North Carolina, Nebraska, Michigan, and Illinois and expanding within those states and other states across the U.S. Since 2012, Lighthouse Autism Center has provided the highest quality, center-based ABA therapy to children with autism. At Lighthouse, children work on things like social skills, daily living skills, communication skills, and school-readiness skills. All children are overseen by Board Certified Behavior Analysts and programs are implemented by Registered Behavior Technicians. Lighthouse Autism Center also has full-time Speech-Language Pathologists on staff who provide co-treat and consultative services speech therapy services to children who attend the centers.


Job Summary

The Senior Application Administrator will serve as the primary owner for CentralReach and potentially other clinical platforms, overseeing configuration, administration, optimization, and support. This role will partner with clinical, operations, revenue cycle, and IT teams to align platform configuration with autism service delivery, workflow consistency, data quality, and scalable business operations. This role will reside in Information Technology. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead administrator and configuration expert for clinical EHR, specifically CentralReach, including user setup, permissions, templates, workflows, locations, service codes, schedules, and operational settings. 
  • Translate business, clinical, billing, and compliance requirements into scalable system configurations that support day-to-day operations and long-term growth. 
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to understand autism service delivery workflows, including intake, scheduling, authorization management, service delivery, documentation, billing, and reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to elevate clinical and functional efficiencies through technology optimization, including reporting and metrics.
  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and process adoption; identify opportunities to improve usability, consistency, reporting accuracy, and workflow efficiency. 
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate with vendor support when needed, and serve as an escalation point for internal users and support teams. 
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration guides, support procedures, training materials, and standard operating processes. 
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement for administrative, clinical, billing, and operational users. 
  • Collaborate with the vendor and related product teams to stay current on product roadmaps, releases, platform capabilities, and product-line changes; assess applicability to organizational needs and recommend improvements that strengthen system use, workflow alignment, and readiness. 
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on integrations, access management, security, reporting, data governance, and broader platform initiatives. 
  • Drive standardization and optimization of clinical technology workflows by partnering consultatively with business, clinical, and operational stakeholders to understand needs, recommend scalable solutions, promote consistent platform use, and deliver ongoing value back to the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in systems administration, application administration, platform configuration, business systems support, or related technology role. 
  • Hands-on experience administering enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, or practice management platforms. 
  • Strong understanding of user access, permissions, workflow configuration, system settings, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and change management. 
  • Ability to gather requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into effective system configurations and supportable processes. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, operational consistency, and user adoption. 
  • Experience working in a healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, autism services, or multi-site service delivery environment preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of ABA service delivery, clinical documentation, authorization requirements, and billing workflows. 
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, reporting, data extraction, remote work, and occasional after-hours support. 
  • Experience supporting operational and clinical platform workflows such as intake, scheduling, clinical documentation, treatment planning, reporting, claims, or revenue cycle processes. 
  • Experience with system implementations, migrations, integrations, acquisitions, or workflow standardization initiatives. 
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, access controls, audit readiness, and operational compliance expectations.

Requirements

 Education/Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. 
  • CentralReach training, certification, or demonstrated platform administration experience preferred. 
  • Relevant certifications in IT service management, healthcare technology, systems administration, or project/change management are a plus. 

Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The team member is occasionally required to stand, walk, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The team member may occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
