Position Overview:
The Field Support Specialist provides critical field support to Claims Adjusters and Investigators by completing on-site tasks that assist with claim investigations, fact verification, and claim resolution. This role serves as the company's boots on the ground, gathering information, documenting observations, and supporting the overall claims process through professional in-person engagement.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel frequently within an assigned territory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain professional and composed during challenging interactions.
- Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in the field.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, cameras, and mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree.
- Experience in insurance, investigations, customer service, field operations, security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Experience collecting documentation, photographs, or field observations.
Responsibilities:
- Claims Investigation Support
- Conduct in-person visits to locate and contact parties who have been unresponsive.
- Obtain recorded statements from witnesses and involved parties when authorized.
- Verify residency, occupancy, and other claim-related information.
- Assist in confirming facts surrounding losses and reported incidents.
- Help locate witnesses and verify identities when needed.
- Scene Documentation & Evidence Collection
- Perform scene inspections and document observations.
- Photograph vehicles, property damage, accident scenes, and other claim-related locations.
- Identify and assist with obtaining surveillance footage from nearby businesses, residences, or other available sources.
- Accurately document findings and submit reports, photos, and field notes in a timely manner.
Claims Support Services:
- Deliver documents or claim-related checks and obtain required signatures.
- Visit medical facilities to retrieve records or verify provider activity and licensing information.
- Complete additional field assignments requested by Claims Adjusters or Investigators to support claim resolution.

- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality during all interactions.
- Represent Aspire positively while interacting with customers, witnesses, businesses, medical offices, and community members.

Working & Physical Conditions:
- Primarily field-based role with extensive local travel.
- Regular driving throughout assigned service territory.
- Work performed outdoors, at residences, business locations, medical facilities, and other community settings.
- Requires walking, standing, driving, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible schedules may occasionally be required to support investigation needs.
- May involve interactions in sensitive or challenging situations requiring professionalism and diplomacy.
