This is a strong opportunity for an early-career attorney to build a foundation in corporate and transactional law, working alongside experienced attorneys on real deals from day one.

We're seeking an entry-level Corporate Attorney to support our transactional team, with the opportunity to develop hands-on deal experience under the mentorship of senior attorneys.

Position Overview:

The Corporate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys on M&A and business transactions, taking on increasing responsibility for drafting, due diligence, and client support as skills develop. This role is ideal for a recently admitted attorney with 1–3 years of corporate or transactional experience who wants to grow into a business-advisor role.

Key Responsibilities:

? Draft and review purchase agreements, operating agreements, and related corporate documents

? Assist with due diligence and transaction timeline management

? Support entity formation, governance, and general corporate matters

? Conduct legal research on corporate and transactional issues

? Support client communications under attorney supervision

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

? Active license to practice law in Illinois; additional bar admissions a plus

? 1–3 years of corporate or transactional experience preferred; strong academic or clerkship background considered

? Strong drafting and research skills

? Genuine interest in business law and client-facing transactional work
