Heartline Staffing is recruiting experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a 26-week travel correctional healthcare assignment in Waymart, Pennsylvania.

YOUR TRAVEL ASSIGNMENT
Gross Weekly Pay: $1,604
Taxable Rate: $10.00/hour
Taxable Weekly Wages: $400/week based on 40 hours
Weekly Travel Stipend: $1,204/week for eligible travelers
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: Nights
Shift Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Overtime: Available if needed

Tax-free stipend eligibility is subject to applicable tax-home and IRS requirements.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT

Join a correctional healthcare team as a Licensed Practical Nurse, providing essential nursing care within a secure correctional environment.

You’ll work alongside healthcare professionals to provide consistent, professional nursing care while following established clinical, safety, security, and facility procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Provide direct nursing care within the Licensed Practical Nurse scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to appropriate healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support routine and ongoing healthcare needs within the correctional setting.
• Communicate effectively with patients, nurses, providers, interdisciplinary healthcare staff, and correctional personnel.
• Follow established infection-prevention, safety, security, and facility procedures.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries within the correctional environment.
• Support consistent, patient-centered care throughout the assigned shift.

EXPERIENCE
• Correctional or mental health nursing experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience, ideally within a correctional or psychiatric setting, is preferred.

TRAVEL ELIGIBILITY

This position is being offered as a TRAVEL LPN assignment only.

Candidate must meet Heartline Staffing's travel eligibility requirements. Tax-free stipend eligibility is separately subject to applicable tax-home and IRS requirements.
