Description

Main Purpose

To perform and coordinate all assigned project management functions, including but not limited to liaison between company and customer/customers on-site inspectors, the direction of project scheduling and yard operations, communication on project status with management, project cost with corporate accounting, and completion of assigned projects within allotted periods and profit projections. 


Essential Functions

  • Review project contracts and ensure an in-depth working knowledge of job specifications, material requirements, completion dates, etc. 
  • Coordinate and direct project activities with appropriate operational personnel to ensure an open flow of communications avoiding delays, cost overruns, fabrications errors, etc. 
  • Maintain positive liaison with customers, on-site customer inspectors, and management to ensure an open line of communication regarding customer concerns, complaints, change orders, and follow up accordingly with all applicable company management supervisors. 
  • Assist the client in developing work packs, associated budgets, and execution sequences.
  • Communicate with the Project Manager regarding the scheduling of material delivery, material specifications, origins, and the cost to ensure coordination of operational functions and timely receipt of materials in that both will comply with contract specifications and schedules. 
  • Review and approve work schedules for assigned projects, material requisitions, percent completed schedules/reports, and requests from operations regarding specification requirements. 
  • Works closely with project managers for production planning, schedule, budgets, and progress.
  • Assists offshore management in developing schedules and maintaining schedules once offshore. 
  • Capable of leading large quantities of personnel and third-party contractors as one team. 
  • Capable of setting tracking criteria for key personnel to follow and developing a tracking form needed for such tracking. 
  • Maintain positive customer relations, facilitating two-way communications between management and the customer.
  • Ensure that material and equipment needs are properly planned and staged in advance of the work to assure an efficient workflow.
  • Review schedule, budgets, and work order report to provide feedback on project progress.
  • Team leader in safety and knowledge of all company policies and procedures.
  • Fosters communication, planning, and personal accountability to foreman, leader man, and craft personnel.
  • Accountable for assuring proper completion of JSA’s and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Able to pull measurements and draw/make drawings on ISO paper.

  • Lifting - employees must lift to 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • TWIC card

Preferred Qualifications 

Highschool diploma or GED.


Environmental Conditions

80% to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc. They may also be exposed to fumes (Paint, paint thinners, diesel or gas, etc.)
