We are looking for a motivated Management Trainee / Manager in Training to join our South Ogden team. This position provides practical experience across rental car operations, sales, customer service, fleet management, employee development, and branch operations.

Rather than learning management solely in a classroom, you will develop your skills by working alongside experienced leaders and taking on increasing responsibility within the branch. The goal is to prepare successful candidates for future Assistant Manager and Branch Manager opportunities.

What You'll Learn

As you progress through the program, you will gain experience in several areas of the business:

Branch Operations

• Learn how a successful rental location operates from opening through closing.
• Become familiar with company policies, procedures, systems, and operational standards.
• Help monitor daily activity and keep the branch running efficiently.
• Gain an understanding of revenue, productivity, and operational goals.

Customer Experience & Sales

• Work directly with customers throughout the vehicle rental process.
• Develop professional sales and communication skills.
• Learn how to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles, products, and services.
• Assist with resolving customer questions and concerns.
• Develop an understanding of sales performance and branch revenue.

Fleet & Vehicle Operations

• Learn how rental fleet inventory is managed and maintained.
• Help coordinate vehicle availability, movement, and readiness.
• Work with team members to maintain vehicle quality and branch standards.
• Develop an understanding of how fleet availability impacts customer service and branch performance.

Leadership & Team Development

• Work alongside branch leadership to support employees and daily operations.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members.
• Develop skills in coaching, communication, delegation, and accountability.
• Gain exposure to employee scheduling and staffing needs.
• Learn how effective leaders build productive and customer-focused teams.

• 2+ years of experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or operations preferred
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is helpful
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history
• Ability to work flexible hours based on branch and business needs
• Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays when scheduled
