The Community Marketing Coordinator is an integral part of the Fatburger Marketing team at FAT brands, responsible for bringing the brand to life at the local restaurant level. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic problem-solving, helping franchisees identify and activate marketing opportunities that drive traffic, build community connections, and support profitable sales growth.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to manage the details while also seeing the bigger picture. They should be comfortable working directly with franchises, navigating multiple priorities, and finding creative solutions when a playbook doesn't already exist.


This role will support local store marketing problems, new restaurant openings, community events, franchisee marketing requests and local partnerships while using market, competitive and sales insights to identify opportunities and recommend effective local marketing strategies.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  

· Assist in developing and executing local marketing plans that drive awareness, traffic and profitable sales, tailored to individual restaurant and market needs.

· Serve as a day-to-day marketing resource to franchisees, helping identify opportunities, develop market-specific strategies and execute events, partnerships and community initiatives.

· Coordinate New Restaurant Marketing Plans and all marketing-related activities from pre-opening through launch.

· Lead local activations, events, and partnerships while ensuring all marketing remains on-brand and aligned with broader Fatburger objectives.

· Coordinate creative requests from intake through final delivery, provide guidance on best practices and ensure franchisees have the tools and resources needed to execute effectively.

· Leverage sales, market and competitive data to identify opportunities, measure results and inform future local marketing strategies.

· Assists the Digital Team with CRM platforms, including websites, SMS, e-clubs, and app-based loyalty programs.

· Responsible for maintaining and updating ship lists, store location lists, and location listings management tools.

· Maintain budgets, project timelines, store/location information, marketing resources and other tools necessary to keep local programs organized and moving forward.

· Assists with Administrative Duties such as maintaining a budget, agendas, notes, and action items for meetings.

Requirements

  

· 2+ years of marketing, local store marketing, franchise marketing, restaurant marketing or agency experience preferred. 

· Experience working with franchisees, field teams, operators, or multiple stakeholders is a plus.

· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both corporate teams and franchise partners.

· Highly resourceful and solutions-oriented; comfortable figuring things out, navigating ambiguity and taking initiatives without being asked.

· Strategic thinker who can understand a business challenge, identify opportunities and recommend practical marketing solutions

· Strong attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to move projects from idea to execution

· Comfortable working with basic sales, market and competitive data translating insights into actionable recommendations

· Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to work directly with franchisees and restaurant operators

· Creative thinker who understands how to make a national brand relevant within individual communities

· Proficiency with project management and marketing tools; experience with Asana, Google Business Profile, social platforms, CRM/loyalty platforms and third-party delivery platforms is a plus.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
