Description

The Terminal Coordinator manages operational activities for Eco-Energy’s downstream bulk terminal assets, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient handling of inbound and outbound product. This role coordinates shipments, monitors inventory, enforces safety and environmental policies, communicates with customers and internal teams, and maintains accurate operational data. The Terminal Coordinator plays a key role in optimizing terminal throughput, supporting financial and performance metrics, and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

· Maintain regular communication with terminal customers and internal stakeholders regarding operations, schedules, and supply changes 

· Enforce strict adherence to Eco-Energy terminal standard operating procedures (SOPs) 

· Monitor product specifications for all inbound and outbound shipments 

· Confirm nominations and coordinate shipments according to site volume schedules 

· Track and process unit shipments, monitor inventory, and manage volumetric discrepancies 

· Report operational issues, gain/loss, and site performance metrics to leadership, including weekly COO updates 

· Monitor terminal volume utilization and support reporting of monthly and annual financials 

· Collaborate with Terminal Development on site startups to ensure smooth operational commencement 

· Ensure accurate reporting to customers for planning, invoicing, and compliance purposes 

· Review and approve maintenance, compliance, and repair requests within site budgets 

· Maintain all compliance and regulatory documentation in coordination with environmental and EH&S teams 

· Support ISO certification by reviewing and maintaining internal policies, procedures, and IMS documentation 

· Coordinate terminal safety, regulatory, and environmental training with superintendents and operators 

· Maintain operational metrics data for dashboards and reporting tools 

· Resolve operational issues through effective problem-solving and communication with customers, vendors, and transportation providers

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field 

· Minimum of 4 years of operations experience, preferably in terminal, logistics, or bulk product handling 


Working Conditions

· Primarily office-based with frequent visits to production and terminal facilities 

· Extended periods of sitting and computer work 

· Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and operating office and terminal systems 

· Exposure to operational environments including bulk terminals, transportation, and storage facilities 

· Requires focus, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and operational responsibilities
