What We’re Looking For
We are searching for someone who already understands the rhythm of a high-volume medical practice and feels confident communicating with patients throughout the day.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a medical front desk or medical office setting.
- Phone & Service Skills: Proven expertise handling high-volume inbound patient calls with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
- Insurance Savvy: Solid understanding of medical insurance, pre-certifications, authorizations, and insurance portals (e.g., PEAR Portal).
- Referral Management: Direct experience entering, processing, and tracking patient referrals.
- Tech-Smart: Strong computer skills, fast data entry, and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the reassuring, expert voice on 100% of inbound patient phone calls.
- Guide patients seamlessly through scheduling, referrals, and insurance inquiries.
- Cross-train at Check-In and Check-Out to maintain a smooth, friendly patient flow.
- Collaborate directly with providers and staff as an integral member of a physician-owned care team.

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of medical front desk/reception experience.
We are especially interested in candidates with:
- At least 1 year of medical office/front desk experience
- Experience handling high-volume inbound patient calls
- Experience entering and processing patient referrals
- Experience using PEAR Portal and other insurance/payer websites
- Strong knowledge of medical insurance
- Experience with referrals, authorizations, and precertifications
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Excellent patient service and telephone communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy medical office
