Position Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible for the administration and coordination of all Human Resource functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
- Coordinates functions of the Human Resources and Payroll area to ensure employee files are accurately and effectively maintained in accordance with established guidelines.
- Assists in maintaining the overall fiscal and corporate health of the properties and corporate by ensuring legal/regulatory provisions, lender requirements, budgetary goals, and ownership objectives are met.
- Ensures the accurate and timely submission of all compliance reports, where applicable.
- Makes sure benefit deductions match all benefit invoices.
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Helps maintain the centralized applicant tracking system for all new hires.
- Effectively processes all new hires within the required timeframe and keeps accurate logs of all activity.
- Handles all new hire orientations, and enters and terminates employee benefits upon new hire or separation from the company.
- Offers proactive recruiting assistance and maintains ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates.
Employee Relations & Policy Administration
- Provides high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
- Implements and administers employee policies, and identifies ways to improve policies and procedures.
- Prepares termination and severance letters.
- Responds to employee inquiries, compliments, and criticisms in a timely and constructive manner.
- Trains and provides support to HR team members.
Culture & Workplace Safety
- Promotes safety in the workplace.
- Originates and leads HR practices and objectives to provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards.
- Supports the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
- Presents in the utmost professional manner when dealing with difficult personnel situations, staying unbiased and confidential.
Personal Responsibility
- Adheres to Integrity's ethical standards and maintains regular, punctual attendance.
- Keeps up to date on business and job-related knowledge by requesting and attending regular training sessions.
- Accepts responsibility for own performance and works effectively to remove performance barriers.
- Demonstrated capacity to solve personnel and resident conflicts in an efficient and equitable manner.
Other Duties
Sets specific performance management goals to directly benefit the company overall. Other duties as assigned by executive management.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred, or at least three (3) years of experience in an HR Generalist related field.
Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent oral and written communication; proficient problem-solving; ability to manage staff and allocate work efficiently; ability to work well under pressure and use discretion while maintaining employee confidentiality.

Physical Requirements
Standing and walking or sitting alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day. Lifting and carrying of weights under 50 lbs.
Travel Requirements
Occasionally, travel will entail going to and from company-managed properties. Must have a valid driver's license and current auto insurance to operate any vehicle on-site and during working hours, including personal vehicles and/or golf carts.
Certificates Encouraged But Not Required
- SHRM or other Professional HR Designation (PHR, SPHR, GPHR)
