We’re hiring two Seasonal Full-Time Cashiers to help make the busiest, most joyful time of year even better at Bering’s. Our cashier team is often the final touchpoint of a customer’s visit—and a friendly smile can make all the difference. 

Our store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00am - 6:00pm and Sunday, 11:00am - 5:00pm.

You’ll be part of a collaborative store team that values hospitality, attention to detail, and helping customers feel right at home. Whether you are wrapping up a quick purchase, sharing a current promotion, or helping keep the front end organized during a busy rush, you’ll play an important role in making the season run smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome every customer with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Process cash, credit/debit card, gift card, and other transactions accurately.
• Help ensure correct pricing, discounts, promotions, receipts, and change at checkout.
• Answer customer questions or connect them with the right team member for assistance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
• Help manage front-end flow and keep customer lines moving smoothly during peak periods.
• Support go-backs, light front-end merchandising, seasonal promotions, and store events as needed.
• Follow cash-handling, loss-prevention, safety, and store policies.
• Work closely with fellow cashiers, sales associates, and store leadership to create a positive team environment.

Previous cashier, retail, POS, or customer-service experience is helpful, but a welcoming personality and willingness to learn are just as important.

Physical Requirements

This role requires standing for extended periods, frequent use of hands for scanning and handling transactions, and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without assistance. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
