To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess:

• Minimum 3 years of attorney-represented Bodily Injury claims handling experience
• Minimum 3 years of Bodily Injury Claims Adjusting experience
• Auto claims handling experience
• Litigation experience handling attorney-represented claims
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage, liability investigations, and bodily injury claim evaluation
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and injury assessment
• Excellent negotiation and settlement skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST supporting California claims operations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent insurance claims experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• California claims experience
• Non-standard auto insurance experience
• Multi-state claims handling experience
• Active adjuster licenses in multiple states

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to join our growing Claims team. This position is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving bodily injury claims while ensuring fair, timely, and compliant claim outcomes.

The ideal candidate has strong bodily injury claim handling experience, excels at negotiating settlements, and understands the complexities of attorney-represented claims.

• Conduct thorough investigations of bodily injury claims, including review of medical records, police reports, and witness statements.
• Evaluate liability and damages based on policy language, state regulations, and applicable legal standards.
• Communicate with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, and other involved parties to obtain necessary documentation and information.
• Analyze medical records, treatment plans, and billing documentation to assess injury severity and claim exposure.
• Negotiate fair and timely settlements within authority guidelines.
• Handle attorney-represented claims from initial investigation through resolution.
• Work collaboratively with management, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex claims.
• Maintain complete and accurate claim file documentation in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current on bodily injury claim trends, insurance regulations, and industry best practices.
• Review and submit all demand evaluations to your supervisor within seven calendar days of receipt.
• Ensure all demand conditions are satisfied when extending settlement offers.
• Make all initial settlement offers no later than three days before demand expiration.
• Assist with litigated claim files as needed, although litigation will not be the primary focus of this position.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
