Kimberton Whole Foods is seeking a full-time Produce Team Member. Come join the Collegeville crew!

Requirements: Full-time, 40 hours per week. One weekend shift is required per week.

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday set schedule. Mix of opening, midday, and closing shifts. Shifts are within a 6:30am-8:30pm timeframe. 

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Starting Hourly Pay:  $17.00 - $19.00

The Produce Team Member’s Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all.
• Receive and stock all incoming fresh produce and related items.
• Rotate fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis.
• Slice, package, weigh and label whole fruits and vegetables
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensures accurate pricing on products received and sold
• Complete all necessary sanitation standards within produce department
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage
• Follow established practices for sustaining abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays
• Perform KWF inventory management practices.

  Physical Capabilities   

• Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. 
• Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. 
• Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. 
• Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing- prolonged standing. 
• Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). 
• Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
