The Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) is seeking a Manager, Product Marketing to develop and lead marketing campaigns for our membership, education programs, events, and services. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, serve as a marketing partner to teams across ICPAS, and help turn organizational priorities into clear, audience-focused plans. You’ll also lead our social media efforts and supervise our Specialist, Digital Marketing Operations.
What You’ll Do
Plan and Lead Campaigns
- Develop marketing plans that connect audience needs with participation, membership, and revenue goals.
- Partner with colleagues to define each campaign’s audience, message, timing, and measures of success.
- Recommend the right channels and level of effort, then manage projects from planning through launch.
Create Marketing That Connects
- Develop campaigns across email, web, social media, print, video, and other channels.
- Write and edit clear, compelling copy that reflects the ICPAS brand and moves audiences to act.
- Coordinate with colleagues and external partners to keep campaigns accurate, cohesive, and on schedule.
Own Social Media
- Lead ICPAS’ social media strategy, editorial calendar, content, and performance goals.
- Create and publish content that supports our programs, members, advocacy work, and brand.
- Guide paid social campaigns and use results to improve what we do next.
Use Results to Improve
- Set campaign goals, track performance, and share useful insights with colleagues.
- Use audience data, testing, and past results to improve messaging, timing, and channel choices.
- Recommend what to continue, change, or try next.
Lead and Improve the Work
- Supervise and coach the Specialist, Digital Marketing Operations.
- Set clear priorities, manage deadlines, and take responsibility for the quality and results of your work.
- Build practical workflows and tools that help the team work effectively.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five or more years of progressive marketing and communications experience.
- Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategy, make sound recommendations, and manage integrated campaigns across multiple products, programs, services, or audiences.
- Strong marketing copywriting and editing skills, with the judgment to adapt messages for different audiences and channels. Familiarity with AP style a plus.
- Experience managing social media strategy, content planning, publishing, community monitoring, and performance measurement. Familiarity with paid digital media a plus.
- Experience using email marketing, CRM or marketing automation, web analytics, and social media management or analytics tools.
- Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar content and design tools a plus.
- Strong project management, prioritization, and stakeholder communication skills, including the ability to set expectations and address competing demands.
- Experience supervising, coaching, or directing the work of others.
- Association, nonprofit, professional or financial services, or education marketing experience preferred.
