Heartline Staffing is recruiting Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 26-week correctional healthcare assignment in Waymart, Pennsylvania. Two openings are available on the 10:00 PM–6:30 AM night shift.
Travel Pay Package

Assignment Details

- Correctional healthcare setting
- Night shift: 10:00 PM–6:30 AM

What You Will Do
- Provide direct nursing care within the RN scope of practice
- Assess and monitor patient health and changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide routine and urgent nursing care as appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate changes in patient condition to appropriate healthcare team members
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary healthcare staff
- Follow established clinical, safety, security and facility procedures
- Provide professional patient care within a secure correctional environment
Correctional healthcare requires nurses who can remain professional, adaptable and focused while providing appropriate care within a secure environment. Candidates must be prepared to follow both healthcare and facility security procedures throughout the assignment.

- Current, active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Strong nursing assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide routine and urgent nursing care within the RN scope of practice
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a secure correctional environment
- Must be able to work the 10:00 PM–6:30 AM night shift
- Must meet applicable Commonwealth and correctional facility requirements prior to placement
Preferred: Previous correctional, acute care, psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience.
