Brand Director:

Weigel Broadcasting in Chicago, IL is seeking an exceptional leader to drive promotional strategy and creative production across the Weigel networks.

About the Role 

· Collaborate with leadership to align creative strategy with ratings and brand growth objectives

· Maintain and evolve creative standards, workflows, and best practices across the department
 

What You’ll Do 

· Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Weigel network’s brand identities, ensuring consistency across all consumer touchpoints

· Manage all aspects of the Promotions team assignments, deadlines and performance

· Partner cross-functionally to coordinate on log formatting needs and timelines, ensuring consistent consumer awareness and promotion across the networks

· Write, produce, and edit quality creative material for Weigel’s platforms, setting the standard related to the brand presentation of the Weigel networks

· Provide your team with feedback and guidance on all aspects of day-to-day tasks and core job functions

· Align with the VP of Network Marketing on assisting in shaping seasonal, tentpole, franchise, and network-wide promotional initiatives

· Spearhead recruiting, developing, and retaining top creative talent

· Perform additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring 

· Management experience with an emphasis on top to bottom execution from inception to delivery on all tasks assigned to you and your team

· Awareness of competitive TV landscape with an emphasis on linear television

· Strategic mindset that connects creative execution with business objectives

· Strong editorial judgment and attention to brand consistency

· Must have strong leadership skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $80,000-$105,000 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
