 The Packaging Assembler supports the assembly of industrial generator packages. This position installs and fits components such as conduit, threaded piping, fuel tank accessories, and other mechanical and electrical hardware. The role requires careful work from drawings and instructions, safe tool use, and coordination with the shop team to complete quality builds. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Assemble and install components on generator packages according to drawings, work instructions, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit for electrical wiring and equipment connections.
• Measure, cut, thread, and install pipe and fittings as required for package assembly.
• Install fuel tank accessories, which may include vents, gauges, fittings, fill connections, and related hardware.
• Mount and secure brackets, supports, enclosures, and other package components.
• Drill, tap, and prepare mounting points as needed for component installation.
• Check fit, alignment, and workmanship during assembly; report damaged parts, missing materials, or drawing discrepancies.
• Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with fabricators, electricians, and other team members to complete assigned builds.
• Assist in other shop areas as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures when using power tools, handling materials, and working around fuel-system components. 

 QUALIFICATIONS 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment commonly used in metal fabrication. 
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy materials and equipment. 
• Strong attention to safety and detail. 
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions. 
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
