Looking for a local Class A driving career with a predictable schedule and more time at home? American Metals Supply is hiring an experienced Local CDL Class A Driver for our Groveport location. You'll make local deliveries within approximately a 175-mile radius and be home every night.

What You'll Do

This is a hands-on local delivery position, not a drop-and-hook driving job. You'll make multiple customer deliveries throughout the day and assist customers with unloading HVAC and sheet metal products.  You'll also:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local delivery routes
• Provide excellent service to customers at delivery locations
• Assist with unloading and properly handling materials
• Complete required pre-trip inspections and transportation documentation
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners as needed
• Assist the warehouse team with loading your truck for the following day's deliveries
• Help with warehouse operations during non-route time

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience
• Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including loading and unloading materials and frequently entering and exiting the truck
• Forklift and warehouse/distribution experience preferred
• Dependable, customer-focused attitude
