CG Creative Studios is a creative communications and production agency specializing in corporate events, brand experiences, motion, video, and creative content. We're looking for an experienced Senior Motion Designer to support project-based client work across live events, web, digital and video content.

This is a hands-on senior design role for a motion generalist who can contribute from concept through final animation. You'll develop style frames, storyboards and motion systems, animate complex ideas in 2D and 3D, and collaborate closely with the team to keep the work creatively strong, on brand and on schedule.

What You'll Own

• Create high-end motion graphics for live events, web, video and digital applications
• Develop concepts, look and style frames, storyboards and thumbnails that establish visual direction, sequence and timing
• Design and animate 2D and 3D content ranging from hero creative to supporting graphics
• Build flexible motion systems and editor toolkits including lower thirds, logo animations, transitions and related elements
• Own assigned projects from concept through final delivery while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Present creative ideas and work in progress to internal teams and clients
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers and editors throughout the creative process
• Work within approved project schedules and budgets and communicate risks or needs early
• Explore and apply current creative technologies and AI-assisted workflows where they improve the work

The Right Fit

You are a senior motion designer who can take ownership without working as an island. You are equally comfortable shaping visual direction with a Creative Director or Art Director, developing style frames and motion systems, and getting deep into execution. You bring strong design judgment, communicate clearly about your work and influences, and can shift between high-profile creative and smaller supporting graphics without losing craft or momentum

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant motion design or animation experience in an agency, production, broadcast, events or similarly fast-paced creative environment
• Advanced After Effects skills and strong proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience working with Cinema 4D and 3D motion workflows
• Proficiency with Figma and Figma-based design workflows
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate concepts into clear, polished visual systems
• Ability to animate complex ideas using current 2D and 3D techniques and software
• Experience with generative AI and emerging creative tools such as Runway, Firefly, Midjourney, ComfyUI or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present and discuss your work with clients and creative teams
• Demonstrated ability to independently own complex projects while collaborating closely with creative leadership and production teams

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience creating motion for live events, broadcast packages, digital signage, product demos, trailers, animated shorts or editor toolkits
• Advanced Cinema 4D experience
• Client-facing experience presenting creative concepts and work in progress
• Basic experience with PowerPoint and Keynote
