- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Relevant certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) are a plus; workplace investigations training or certification preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 4 years focused on employee relations and workplace investigations.
- 2+ years of experience supervising or leading HR team members.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and Arizona employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and ADEA, and experience responding to agency charges.
- Proven ability to conduct and oversee objective, well-documented investigations and to make sound, defensible recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate Excel knowledge. Experience with an HRIS (Paylocity preferred) is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to communities across the Valley up to 80% of the time, with the remaining time spent at Mark-Taylor’s corporate office in Scottsdale.
