Position Overview: 

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Bill board and Sign Installation Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for producing, installing, maintaining, and removing a variety of signs and billboard advertising throughout the area. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, working at heights, operating equipment, and taking pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install finished signs, formed letters, and other signage on buildings, walls, and other structures using appropriate installation techniques.
• Install, remove, and rotate billboard advertising at various locations and photograph completed installations for quality and documentation purposes.
• Basic electrical and wiring connections for illuminated signs, cabinet signs, and digital signs, and the ability to troubleshoot signs by changing out bulbs and ballasts. 
• Perform sign production tasks including cutting, painting, laminating, mounting, and other finishing work.
• Repair and maintain sign structures, including trimming trees and bushes that obstruct sign visibility.
• Perform quality checks before and after production and installation to ensure work meets company and customer expectations.
• Maintain he warehouse and work areas by organizing materials, stacking vinyl, cleaning sawdust and debris, and keeping worktables and equipment organized.
• Operate scissor lifts, aerial platforms, and similar equipment safely after completing required certification and training.
• Perform periodic maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures while working in the shop, warehouse, and field.
• Provide courteous, professional service and work to exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic instructions verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer and office equipment skills, including email, scanners, copiers, and related equipment.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance if driving is required for the position.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, climb ladders and work at significant heights, and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to safely lift at least 75 pounds repeatedly.

Physical & Work Environment

This is an active, physically demanding position that requires regular bending, standing, sitting, lifting, climbing, driving, and working outdoors.

The position may require:

• Sitting in a vehicle for extended periods.
• Working outdoors in temperatures exceeding 100 degrees.
• Repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Climbing ladders and working at outdoor heights exceeding 100 feet.
• Working around moderate levels of noise, smells, and varying lighting conditions.
• Working safely around equipment, vehicles, tools, and production materials.
