Verland is looking for a motivated and compassionate Part-Time Intern to join our team!

Verland is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing individualized care and ongoing support to people in our community with complex physical and intellectual challenges. Location: Verland
Schedule: Part-Time – Approximately 20 hours per week
Schedule Flexibility: We understand that school comes first! We are willing to work with your class schedule to create a schedule that works for you and the needs of our organization!

What You'll Do

As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting the work of our organization. Responsibilities may vary based on your area of study, interests, and the needs of Verland.

You may have the opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience in a professional nonprofit environment
• Support day-to-day projects and organizational initiatives
• Work alongside experienced professionals and learn from a dedicated team
• Assist with administrative, organizational, or department-specific projects
• Develop communication, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Learn about the nonprofit and human services field
• Contribute to projects that directly support our mission and the people we serve

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program
• Interest in gaining professional experience related to your field of study
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and respectful approach to working with others
• Willingness to work approximately 20 hours per week
• Ability to work with us to create a schedule that accommodates your school commitments
