Position Summary
Supports electronic banking operations with a focus on ATM and debit card processing, balancing, reconciliation, platform support, and issue resolution. Provides support to branch employees and customers related to electronic banking products, services, and platform needs.
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate ATM and debit card records, balancing general ledger and settlement activity, supporting ATM network operations, investigating customer inquiries, and assisting with electronic banking platforms. Must be detail oriented, customer focused, and comfortable working with technology, financial data, and multiple priorities.
Essential Functions
• Balance ATM reports, general ledgers, and offsite ATMs, including preparation of general ledger tickets, customer account adjustments, ACH settlement verification, and ATM balancing
• Verify debit card applications and ATM/debit card maintenance, including PIN changes, closed, lost, stolen, purged, restricted, and account change information
• Review ATM and debit card setup and maintenance for accuracy within applicable systems
• Research and resolve customer inquiries and investigations, including corrections, required timelines, and maintenance of supporting documentation
• Maintain ATM network operations, including monitoring cash balances, recommending cash changes, ordering supplies, coordinating service calls, resetting alarms, responding to monitoring calls, maintaining key logs, and supporting ATM messaging
• Assist branches with first-line ATM support and perform applicable first-line duties for offsite ATMs, including receipt roll replacement and machine resets
• Work with the Senior EFT & ATM Operations Specialist to support new tools, maintain existing platforms, complete daily general ledger activity, review debit-related reports, and address operational issues
• Complete assigned general ledger reconciliations
• Provide support for electronic banking platforms, including Internet Banking and Branch Capture
• Open, monitor, and close service calls related to supported platforms
• Provide responsive support to branch employees and customers regarding electronic banking products, services, and operational issues
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while adhering to Bank policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of banking experience
• Advanced computer skills and ability to learn electronic banking platforms and systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to research, identify, and resolve operational issues
• Ability to perform balancing and reconciliation functions accurately
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Professional communication skills when working with employees, customers, vendors, and management
• Ability to travel during the workday using personal transportation as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Previous experience with ATM, debit card, or electronic banking operations
• Experience with general ledger reconciliation and settlement activity
• Experience supporting electronic banking platforms and related technologies
• Knowledge of banking products, systems, operational controls, and regulatory requirements
