Plant Manager
Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our enclosure manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality control, safety compliance, and staff management. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily operations of the encloser manufacturing plant, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize efficiency.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.

Safety Compliance:

  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.

Staff Management:

  • Lead, train, and develop plant personnel to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage for production needs.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

  • Develop and manage the plant budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Analyze production costs and implement cost-saving measures.

Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain processes.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance to senior management.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on production goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in enclosure or fabrication industries.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and use of manufacturing tools and equipment.
  • Exposure to noise, heat, and manufacturing environments.
