Are you someone who enjoys building relationships, staying on the move, and taking on new challenges? Frank Beer Distributors is looking for two motivated and adaptable Sales Relief Representatives to support our on- and off-premise sales teams!


In this dynamic role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of customers, support different sales territories, and help keep our business moving forward. From merchandising and product placement to taking orders and covering sales routes, no two days will look exactly the same.


You'll play an important role in maintaining strong customer relationships, driving product sales, and ensuring our customers have the products and support they need. What You'll Do


Support Sales & Customer Relationships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with on- and off-premise customers through proactive, professional, and engaging communication.
  • Cover sales routes when regular representatives are unavailable, managing customer inventory, placing orders, communicating pricing, and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Present and promote new brands, products, seasonal offerings, and promotional programs to customers.
  • Monitor customer credit status and assist with collecting outstanding payments.
  • Communicate current pricing, promotions, and product information to customers.
  • Handle urgent customer orders and deliveries ("hot shots") as needed.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives, merchandisers, delivery drivers, operations, customer service, and Frank Liquor colleagues.

Merchandising & Product Execution

  • Support product merchandising, inventory management, and proper rotation of date-sensitive products.
  • Assist with product displays, seasonal resets, promotional planning, and new product placements.
  • Monitor product codes and maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Conduct supplier surveys, market research, and sales trend analysis.
  • Assist with special projects and provide merchandising support when not covering sales routes.
  • Help coordinate vacation coverage and ensure continuity of service across the sales team.

Off-Premise Sales Support

  • Build and maintain product displays using point-of-sale (POS) materials in accordance with company and supplier guidelines.
  • Maintain an inventory of POS materials and coupons, applying applicable rebates and promotions.
  • Take inventory, organize back stock, refill cold boxes and shelves, and maintain clean, presentable displays.
  • Assist customers with locating products while working alongside store personnel.
  • Partner with category management to support product resets and merchandising initiatives.
  • Recommend, create, and install promotional materials, including menu cards and permanent signage.

On-Premise Sales Support

  • Recommend, design, and install POS materials, menu cards, and permanent signage to increase product visibility and customer engagement.
  • Maintain foundational knowledge of draft beer systems and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed.
Requirements

  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate pricing, promotions, and cost of goods.
  • Comfort presenting information in informal customer and team settings.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to adapt to changing situations and work effectively with a variety of personalities.
  • A strong customer service mindset and commitment to building productive customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with the PROFIT steps of a sales call and supplier quality assurance standards.
  • Working knowledge of eoTouch software for inventory management, pricing, deal structures, and order entry is preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Relevant experience in distribution, hospitality, beverage, or supplier industries required.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of insurance required. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain any required liquor salesperson permits.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Residence within or near the assigned sales territory preferred.
