Courier Operations Lead


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Courier Operations Lead to oversee daily courier activities, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery operations. Starting pay: $25/hour


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare the daily Integrated Package Tracking (IPT) using Fareye platform.

- Set up and manage smart labels for shipments.

- Oversee driver scanners and manage LDAP access for drivers.

- Conduct daily vehicle audits by scanning all packages on assigned routes after sorting is complete.

- Sign into Samsara platform and monitor vehicle cameras periodically throughout the day for driver safety and compliance.

- Assist in maintaining the oil log and vehicle maintenance schedules.

- Respond to emails and address fielded complaints promptly and professionally.

- Ensure drivers depart from the dock in a timely manner to meet delivery schedules.

- Perform minimal forklift driving as required. (Certification will be provided)

- Learn and troubleshoot delivery and pickup issues, providing solutions to drivers.

- Research and resolve any delivery or pickup-related problems efficiently.

- Monitor debrief reports for pickup cutoff times and coordinate directly with dispatch to resolve discrepancies


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in logistics, courier operations, or related field.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues quickly.

- Familiarity with Fareye, Samsara, and LDAP systems. is preferred

- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and ability to perform vehicle audits

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules

Hours of Operation:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 6:00am to 3:00am

Tuesdays: 5:30am to 2:30pm.

Weekends: Off.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience in logistics management.

- Strong leadership and management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to logistics operations. DOT. Traffic Laws.

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

- Strong problem-solving skills.
