Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

It's an exciting time at our Great Brook Valley Kids Club! We are in the midst of a capital campaign to rebuild the club to include a two story building with a pool and the ability to serve over 500 kids a day!

What You'll Do

As a Program Staff member, you'll help create exciting after-school experiences for children ages 5-13 by:

  • Leading and assisting with games, sports, arts & crafts, STEM projects,      homework help, and enrichment activities
  • Building positive relationships with children and families
  • Encouraging participation, teamwork, and personal growth
  • Helping create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
  • Supporting educational and recreational programming
  • Following EEC regulations and organizational policies
  • Assisting with light cleaning and general program support

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Positive attitude, dependability, and enthusiasm for working with children
  • Must be at least 18 years old (per EEC regulations)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a CORI, national background check, and EEC fingerprinting requirements

Preferred (But Not Required)

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working with youth in schools, camps, child care programs, or community      organizations
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Experience providing academic support or homework assistance
  • Familiarity with educational technology and online learning tools

  Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and actively engaging with children for extended periods
  • Ability to participate in recreational and indoor/outdoor activities

Salary Description
$15.75- $16.50 per hour (based on experience)
