Warehouse Administrative Specialist – PM Shift

Location: Findlay, OH
Starting Pay: $20.50 per hour


Position Summary:

Bluegrass Supply Chain is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Administrative Specialist to support receiving, inventory accuracy, documentation, and customer operations. This role combines administrative responsibilities with hands-on warehouse support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, process-driven, safety-focused, and committed to providing excellent service to both internal teams and customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate receiving and inventory data within warehouse management systems
  • Process documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Support customer operations and work closely with warehouse leadership
  • Collect, verify, and report operational data accurately and on time
  • Identify and report defective materials, safety concerns, and process issues
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and review operational priorities using SQDCM boards
  • Follow company safety, quality, LEAN, and 5S standards
  • Assist with training team members on processes and procedures
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvement
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
  • Perform other warehouse and administrative duties as needed
Requirements

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with receiving, inventory control, shipping, or warehouse administration preferred
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working with a WMS or inventory management system preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Work may be performed in climate-controlled areas and warehouse environments with varying temperatures
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, including shifts up to 12 hours
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
  • Exposure to warehouse equipment, tools, noise, and other operational hazards
  • Ability to safely perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Handheld scanners and other data collection devices
  • WMS and inventory management systems
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Two-way radios
  • Tape measures, rulers, gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment
  • Hand tools, power tools, and air tools
  • Safety glasses, gloves, earplugs, steel-toed footwear, and other required PPE
