Support the Production of World-Class Bovine Genetics

Select Sires, Inc. is seeking a Livestock Technician to join our production team in Plain City, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in supporting cattle handling, semen collection, and production activities that help deliver industry-leading dairy and beef genetics to producers throughout the United States and around the world. Starting wage is $19.00+ per hour.

Work Schedule

Full-time, hourly, non-exempt position
Monday through Friday schedule
Shift assignments vary by facility and may include: 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. | 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. | 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. |1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Holiday, evening, and weekend work may be required on a rotating basis.
Work schedules and responsibilities may be adjusted to support business and production needs.

What You'll Do

Collect semen using established safety protocols.
Handle bulls in a manner that properly stimulates semen collection.
Feed, clean, move, and monitor dairy and beef cattle.
Support health testing, veterinary treatments, and hoof-trimming activities.
Operate company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and farm equipment.
Maintain facilities, equipment, and work areas.
Follow all biosecurity, safety, and production quality standards.
Work collaboratively to achieve production goals.

Requirements
