Job Title: PC Lead Operator Utility (All Machines)
Reports To: Department Supervisor
FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt
3rd Shift
Hours: Sunday-Thursday 10:30PM to 7:00AM
Overtime is required based on production needs.
Pay: $20/hour
Summary Operates or direct others to operate a machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, and/or labeling by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Make and teach machine adjustments for increased production and quality.
• Assess the root cause of machine downtime and adjust or fix the issue.
• Ability to operate and train on all machines in company production rooms proficiently.
• Able and willing to help the entire production team achieve more. Making sure operators have all they need to maintain a continuous run on the machine(s); such as film rolls, printer ribbon, tape for film change, etc.
• Demonstrate good time management, keeping in mind the productivity of all machines.
• Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products.
• Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
• Starts machine and observes operation to ensure machine is operating properly.
• Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.
• Inspects filled packs to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
• Mounts supplies such as film on spindles.
• Assist production supervisor with overseeing the department.

Language Skills
