About Weiser, Idaho
Located approximately one hour northwest of Boise at the confluence of the Weiser and Snake Rivers, Weiser combines small-town living with convenient access to larger-city amenities.
The community offers a lower cost of living, the Weiser River Trail, and easy access to some of Idaho’s most treasured recreational areas, including Hells Canyon, Payette National Forest, lakes, reservoirs, hot springs, and exceptional winter recreation. The local school district offers smaller class sizes and strong vocational programs.
And while our town name is pronounced “Weezer,” like the band, our vibe is a little more instrumental. Each year, Weiser hosts the National Old-time Fiddlers’ Contest and Festival, earning its reputation as the Fiddle Capital of the World.
