PURPOSE
The Warehouse Supervisor provides frontline leadership and tactical oversight for daily property receiving dock workflows and floor-level warehouse operations. This role coordinates physical inventory control and material slotting to seamlessly support 24/7 high-volume casino, hotel, and F&B operations while enforcing regulatory safety mandates, maintaining audit readiness, and driving frontline team performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Frontline Workflow Execution & Floor Operations: Direct daily warehouse workflows, managing the receiving, staging, and distribution of goods to optimize floor throughput while serving as the primary point of contact for internal property departments.
- Quality Assurance & Material Control: Enforce quality control protocols at the receiving dock to verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, validate product standards, and coordinate the swift resolution of damaged or shorted goods.
- Centralized Logistics & Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate warehouse dispatch functions by tracking daily freight schedules, supervising inventory breakdown, and ensuring accurate paperwork delivery to protect the property's internal supply pipeline.
- Micro-Layout & Slotting Efficiency: Maintain physical inventory locations and slotting within established layout guidelines, dynamically adjusting stock placement to maximize picking efficiency and minimize team travel time.
- Inventory Counting & Variance Analysis: Execute monthly physical inventory counts and cycle counts, generating primary data sets for leadership while conducting immediate on-the-floor root-cause research into tracking variances.
- Dock Safety & Compliance Governance: Maintain constant audit readiness across all receiving docks by enforcing OSHA regulations, ensuring proper PPE usage, and upholding strict health and safety sanitation standards.
- Frontline Leadership & Shift Management: Provide direct supervision to warehouse team members, managing weekly schedules, assigning daily tasks, conducting shift huddles, and delivering performance input to the Warehouse Manager.
- Talent Development & Performance Management: Lead all recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching for the Warehouse Receiving team, including administering Corrective Action Plans and delivering formal performance reviews.

Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. An additional two (2) years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Two (2) years of experience working in a warehousing or distribution function.
- One (1) year of experience leading others in a supervisory or lead role preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Technological Literacy & Data Governance: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) alongside the operational capability to navigate corporate WMS and ERP software platforms.
- Tactical Inventory & Counting Methodology: Strong execution of physical inventory management, including leading monthly counts, routine cycle-counting, and variance root-cause research.
- Operational Planning & Prioritization: Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to maintain seamless material routing on the floor.
- Frontline Leadership & Performance Coaching: Ability to direct a team of floor workers, manage shift schedules, conduct huddles, and deliver clear performance feedback.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Clear oral and written communication skills to cleanly interface across hospitality departments and deliver accurate delivery documentation.
- Material Control & Quality Assurance: Skilled in receiving operations, including validating shipments against purchase orders, verifying product quality, and resolving vendor discrepancies.
- Regulatory Safety Enforcement: Solid knowledge of OSHA mandates, proper PPE applications, and safe material handling procedures to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
