PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position is responsible for the oversight and performance of 80 clinics spanning 9 states and 5 time zones. Our clinics operate in the Medically Assisted Treatment of Substance Use Disorder. This individual will occupy a seat on the Executive Team reporting directly to the President and Chief Operating Officer and will be expected to integrate and collaborate with team members to drive improved patient experience, employee experience and overall visit volume leading to improved margins.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following functions have been determined by Ideal Option to be essential to the successful performance of this position which includes but is not limited to:
Process – This individual will be expected to develop and document efficient and effective processes pertaining to patient experience, employee experience, and visit volume and margin. It will be further expected that all processes will be continuously monitored and evaluated for improvement.
Discipline – Once developed and implemented, this individual will employ a level of discipline to ensure all staff are adhering to set policies and procedures. Monitoring performance will be paramount to ensuring minimal deviation from intended functionality.
Precision – Decisions will be based upon data and facts rather than on emotion. Establishment of executive oversight and exception reporting will be required to ensure the effectiveness of current approaches and desired performance is being attained. Decisions will be based upon factual and enumerated evidence to ensure soundness.
Accountability – This individual will be expected to drive accountability throughout their organization to derive maximum performance and satisfaction from our clinics. Identification of challenges will be achieved through structured accountability and communication and will be addressed in collaboration with other Executives to ensure organizational harmony.
The key metrics by which performance will be measured are:
- Drive sustainable revenue growth and financial health
- By ensuring optimized clinical operations we will attain our targeted EBITDA targets.
- Achieve elevated visit targets
- Achieve targeted visit volume growth YoY representing a roughly 10% increase.
- Advance solution – Patient scheduling and communications
- Be an active participant in the design and deployment of our contracted solution to improve overall patient scheduling and communications. Participate in strategic efforts to leverage this new technological platform to further improve the clinicexperience.
- Build a high-performing, engaged team
- This individual will be expected to quickly evaluate the current organizational structure and make recommendations to improve individual and clinic performance while establishing team and organizational harmony.
- Evaluate and improve oversight, communication, and the team dynamic within our clinic and field staff.
- Identify and address organizational barriers affecting onsite patient and employee experience.
- Decrease Medical Assistant turnover by 10% YoY
- Improve Medical Assistant attendance and reduce overall clinic blocks and closures resulting from Medical Assistant attendance shortfalls.
- Participate in the development of optimized clinic scheduling matrices to maximize patient throughput while improving the overall patient experience and reducing clinic staff strain.
- Comply with national PHI laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational information.
- Maintain continually sustained attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others and as part of the Ideal Option team.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

- Fully remote position; must have a dedicated home office setup.

- Must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability during core business hours; may need to accommodate multiple time zones.

Physical Demands:
