Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Jr. Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and collaborate with our Marketing Communications, Sales, and Purchasing teams to bring creative ideas to life across a variety of marketing channels.


The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented creative professional who understands how strong design can connect with customers, reinforce a brand, and support business growth. You’ll help translate strategic direction into engaging, on-brand marketing materials—from digital content and promotional materials to print and wide-format applications.

This position reports to the Sr. Graphic Designer.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Creates compelling print and digital design across the path-to-purchase, including retail communications, brand identity, packaging, and digital communications, ensuring materials are clear, engaging, and consumer-focused. 
  • Manages creative projects from kickoff through final production, independently balancing multiple concurrent assignments, deadlines, and shifting priorities. 
  • Partners cross-functionally with internal teams and subject matter experts to define project needs, objectives, and specifications, distill complex information, and develop effective creative solutions. 
  • Serves as a brand steward, ensuring brand standards, messaging consistency, and the highest level of quality across the design, proofing, and production of all deliverables. 
  • Effectively presents creative concepts and recommendations to key stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining alignment with project and brand objectives. 
  • Manages external vendors and creative partners as needed and contributes to the development and continuous improvement of creative workflows and processes. 
  • Stays current on design trends, tools, and market developments, applying relevant insights to evolve design strategies, approaches, and tactics. 
  • Proactively shares knowledge and best practices with team members and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements


Education & Experience:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, media design, digital design, or related field.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in agency environment and experience with Wide format printing and digital media creation and video production preferred.
  • Demonstrated design experience across digital and print media, including layout, typography, image manipulation, creative ideation, concept development, and 2D prototyping. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with working knowledge of Premiere and After Effects. 
  • Experience with packaging and print production, including an understanding of print processes, CMYK, and production specifications. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and practical proficiency in Microsoft Office. 
  • Proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a variety of stakeholders, both independently and collaboratively.

Physical Demands/Environment:

  • Regularly required to sit or walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; use peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus; work in wet or humid conditions and in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Frequently required to stand, climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk, smell; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or greater; use color/distance vision. Subject to cleaning chemicals.
  • Occasionally required to work in high places.
  • The noise level is usually moderate.
