We are currently seeking an Operations Analyst I for our Operations department. Our Operations department is responsible for processing annual contributions, fund transfers, payroll/source/trading corrections, answering participants/plan sponsors questions, etc. This position is based out of our Mobile, AL headquarters and reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).

  • Process work order requests made by Administrators.
  • Learn and maintain a working knowledge of our EF Operations procedures.
  • Review and update the status of all assigned daily work requests.
  • Send follow up emails on pending requests as well as enter notes for work requests that may have issues or are overdue.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required to be a qualified candidate.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • An expert understanding of department processes, procedures, and standards.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to use general office equipment including computer keyboard by touch, voice mail system, copy machine, and printers.

  • Effective communications skills with ability to handle difficult people or situations.

Experience and Education Requirements:


General business, accounting or finance degree preferred. Five years related work experience and accounting classes may be substituted for degree. Prior experience with Relius or similar software is a plus.
