Stockroom Clerk
Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to support our manufacturing operations. This position will perform various duties such as receiving, shipping, material handling and inventory controls.


The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and experience working with inventory or materials in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.  


Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Pull material via kit pulls, material requests as directed.
  2. Participate in cycle counts.
  3. Maintain stocking bin locations.
  4. Perform minimal inventory control transactions as required.
  5. Maintain import/export Excel spreadsheets and packing lists.
  6. Package materials for export to Mexico.
  7. Perform shipping / receiving functions.
  8. Material handling functions as required.
  9. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  2. Experience in a stockroom environment desired.
  3. Knowledge of electronic components and other electronic parts used in the manufacturing of printed circuit boards helpful, but not required.
  4. Experience with Great Plains or similar automated inventory control system.
  5. Inventory reconciliation skills desired, but not required.
  6. Proficiency with MS Office programs preferred (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  7. Experience with operating a pallet jack and forklift safely.  
  8. Ability to lift 35 – 40 lbs.

Physical Conditions / Requirements

  • Ability to work in a stockroom or warehouse environment. Nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.  
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle materials throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to push, pull, carry, and position materials as required. 
  • Occasional – Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; some interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
  • Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
  • Hearing requirements: Ability to hear people over the telephone and in person; hear noise in surrounding areas, i.e., forklifts in warehouse for safety purposes.

Salary Description
$19-$20 per hour, depending on experience
