Description

  

Bank of Ann Arbor is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting across retail banking, operations, lending, and corporate functions. This role partners with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, assess candidates, and deliver a professional, high-touch candidate experience aligned with the Bank’s values and community-focused culture.

What You’ll Do

· Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions, from intake and sourcing through interviews, selection, and offer acceptance.

· Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, team needs, and hiring priorities.

· Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, networking, career fairs, and community outreach.

· Screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, coordinate interview processes, and provide well-supported hiring recommendations.

· Represent Bank of Ann Arbor’s mission, culture, and commitment to community throughout the candidate experience.

· Maintain accurate applicant tracking records and coordinate background checks, reference checks, pre-employment screenings, onboarding, and new-hire orientation support.

· Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, EEO requirements, and fair hiring standards.

· Monitor time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and pipeline health; recommend improvements to recruiting processes, tools, and candidate engagement.

Requirements

  

What You’ll Bring

· At least five years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably in a corporate, financial services, or other regulated environment.

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.

· Strong interviewing, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

· Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.

· Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office.

· Professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Recruiting experience in banking or another regulated industry.

· SHRM or HRCI certification.

· Experience with community-based recruiting and employer branding.
