Location: AllCare GA corporate office (Tuesday through Thursday); remote (Monday and Friday)
Position Summary
The RN Lead is AllCare GA's clinical leadership point of contact for day-to-day clinic operations. This role owns the clinical inbox, manages critical lab call notification, and provides nurse triage support for patients seen across clinics. The RN Lead works closely with Clinical Support Specialists (CSS) and Medical Assistants (MA) on daily clinical workflow, partners with Practice Managers and clinic leadership on daily operations, and assists with hands-on clinical tasks within RN scope, such as phlebotomy and respirator fit testing, when additional support is needed. This position requires a current Georgia RN license.

Clinical Inbox & Lab Management
• Own the clinical inbox in Athena so no item goes unaddressed
• Manage the lab review inbox and critical lab call notification process
• Immediately notify the provider on duty for any critical or panic lab value
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Athena
Nurse Triage & Clinical Escalation
• Provide nurse triage for patient-reported symptoms and direct patients to the appropriate level of care
• Escalate reportable disease findings and other clinical concerns to the Medical Director
Clinical Workflow Support
• Work closely with CSS and MA staff on daily clinical workflow, script use, and lab routing
• Review and approve patient-communication scripts
• Assist clinic leadership with in-scope clinical tasks as needed, such as phlebotomy, specimen collection, and respirator fit testing
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Partner with Practice Managers and clinic leadership on daily operations and center-level priorities
• Maintain monthly activity metrics for leadership review
• Escalate issues appropriately and keep clinical and operational priorities aligned
Additional Responsibilities
• Support special projects and broader clinical operations initiatives as needed
Required
• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license with authorization to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications to be confirmed with the Medical Director).
• Comfortable performing phlebotomy, specimen collection, and other hands-on clinical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with support staff.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior primary care, triage, or care management experience.
• Experience with Athena Health or a comparable EHR.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
This role works a hybrid schedule: in-office at the AllCare GA corporate office Tuesday through Thursday, and from home Monday and Friday. Occasional clinic coverage may be assigned for phlebotomy, fit testing, or other in-scope clinical support, which may require standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. Clinic coverage may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other clinical hazards, requiring consistent use of standard precautions and personal protective equipment. A company-issued laptop and company-assigned phone (Vonage) or designated communication platform are required.
